Topsail Island Surf School is family-owned and operated. Located on Topsail Island, North Carolina. Specializing in private and group surf lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to share our love of surfing to everyone. Offering the best surf experience possible by providing a safe, positive, and fun surf lesson. Come surf with us at our location, 101 Roland Ave. The best waves on Topsail Island are just steps from TI Surf School. We offer mobile service to all of Topsail Island, bringing surfboards and our crew right to your beach house, for just a $20 fee. All our instructors at Topsail Island Surf School have many years of surf experience, we will have you riding the waves in no time! Contact us to schedule your personalized surf experience.

Private SURF Lesson

- Private surf lessons are offered for 1 person, or groups up to 4 surfers (1 surfer to 1 instructor)

- Group surf lessons are offered for 2 or more surfers (2 surfers to 1 instructor)

2023 Summer Surf Camp

What does a private and group lesson involve?

Private and Group lessons both begin with a beach instruction for about 10-15 minutes providing information about the waves, winds, tides, the pop-up, surfboards, surfer etiquette, and water safety. 1 hour will be spent in the water!
